About
Hi, my name is Johan and this blog is for the random rant, curated curiosity, and my general thoughts on UX.
I run a small UX design company. The past 10 years I’ve been fortunate to work with great companies like Apple, Codeo, Applied Projects, Nordisk Film, and the City Archives of Copenhagen. Besides virtual interfaces, I’ve worked on Smart Parking prototypes, fitness widgets, and other curious interaction designs.
My background is an explorative mix of theory and practice. I hold a B.A. is in Philosophy from the University of Copenhagen, and a M.Sc. in Digital Design & Communication from the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) and Stanford University. The past 3 years my primary research topic has been online trust and credibility. Parts of this research can be found in Howard Rheingold’s 2012 book “Net Smart” and a public article is in review.
